As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition.
The job:
Immediate start
- Days of work: Monday to Saturday
- Hours: 06.00 am- 02.00 pm (depending on the run).
- Site location: Kamo, Whangarei

The role: You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations in and around the Northland region, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business. The main responsibilities include:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods
- Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported.
- Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs
- Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirement
- Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc.
- Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required
- Help team in picking/dispatching if needed
The candidate:
- A full Class 2 driver's licence
- Must be able to drive manual
- Relevant driving experience is essential
- Have clear communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Whangarei and wider Northland and its surrounding areas is a plus
- Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills
- Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail
- Clean driving and criminal records
- Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
- Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 20 kgs

§ Pick up empty crates and bottles from each customer on daily basis.
§ Employees are to drive appropriate truck into loading dock and cow milk and products onto the truck in accordance with OSH Health and Safety procedures as stated by Employer in Employment Contract.

§ Employees are to wear relevant safety clothing and uniform as stated by Employer.
