As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will join our technically savvy team to develop and deliver automated test systems to aid in the delivery of Resideo's leading edge video, AI and imaging products. This is a unique chance to drive Teknique and Resideo to accomplish their mission to "Protect What Matters Most" while bringing innovation to the way we live.
**JOB DUTIES:**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts to understand software requirements, design specifications, and user stories.
+ Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
+ Implement end-to-end automated test suites for APIs, hardware modules and other software components.
+ Perform continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) integration by integrating automated tests into the build and release pipelines.
+ Identify and document test cases, test scenarios, and test data to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
+ Execute automated tests, analyse test results, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
+ Mentor junior team members, contribute to code reviews, provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to coding standards for automated test code.
+ Monitor and report on test automation progress, test coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to test automation and software quality assurance.
**YOU MUST HAVE:**
+ 3+ years of experience in product software testing and development (coding in an object-oriented programming language - Java or Python preferred).
+ Experience with AWS / jenkins / ansible and other tools that can support automation.
+ Creation of test plans, test case identification, creating and maintaining a test case database.
+ Experience developing and executing a comprehensive set of automation test sets and test cases.
+ Exposure to firmware testing and/or validation.

+ Experience working closely with development team to identify and implement automated test cases.
+ Experience writing automated tests and integrating automated tests into continuous development and deployment systems.

+ Defect tracking.
+ Manual testing where required.
+ Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
+ Attention to detail, and ability to communicate that detail to others.
+ Experience implementing and extending an automated test framework.
+ Willingness to travel abroad to assist bringing products into production and collaborate within a global team (US & China).
+ Knowledge of Image Processing and Computer Vision.
+ Experience working in an Agile environment.

What you will do

Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables

Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels

Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements

Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture and investigation, as well as proper documentation of complaints

Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development

Must haves 

4+ years experience in QA

Strong SQL Knowledge (Tasks: Transformations, Validation, Calculations and Logic Validation):

DDL Statements

DML Statements

Window functions

Functional Analysis Experience (It’s vital to understand what is being tested and also help us identify if the process is covering all/edge cases)

Task and Bug Management System Experience: Jira, TestRail, or similar tool

Experience in API Testing and API automation using Postman or similar tool

Experience in Git: Github, Bitbucket, or similar tool

Strong understanding of CI/CD processes

Nice to haves

Back-end experience – Python Knowledge (at least on the level for white-box testing)

Experience in Apache NiFi

Experience in AWS Lambda and S3

Experience in data warehouse (like Snowflake)

Experience in business intelligence platforms like Looker, MSTR, or Power BI to be able to perform Explores/Objects validation

**QA Systems / Audit Engineer**
We are seeking an additional QA Systems/Audit Engineer to join their well-established QA team. The QA Systems/Audit Engineer works to ensure that the CHCEC's Quality Management (QMS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS) are in compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements, that the business operation is in conformance with the QMS & SMS and that the business delivers a safe and airworthy product.
**Your Role**
+ Monitor and interpret civil aviation regulations, incorporating applicable requirements into CHCEC's Quality and Safety Management Systems to ensure ongoing compliance
+ Plan and conduct audits of product and support sections, engine certification documents, and external repair vendors
+ Direct and lead external regulatory and customer auditors within the product and support sections.
+ Lead and administer safety inquiries and quality investigations.
+ Issue Company Authorisations.
**Your Profile**
+ Hold an NZCAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or an overseas equivalent
+ Hold or be prepared to gain a Lead Auditor qualification
+ Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in aviation maintenance, preferably with some experience working in a QA function in an aero-engine MRO
+ Have a high level of computer and IT literacy
+ Be a confident and empathic communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels
+ Be a team player
+ Lead by example - maintain high standards of professionalism
+ Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
+ Be friendly, outgoing, and passionate about what you do
**OPTIMAL QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree in a Quality or Business Management or Engineering field, and
