Batth Transport Limited is a growing Transport Company based in Taranaki region. With continuous business growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Transport Manager to work at our New Plymouth location. The role is full time for minimum 32 hours and maximum 40 hours per week. The right candidate will be offered between $35- $38/hour.
Your will be responsible for:
- Lead our transport team to deliver outstanding service.
- Oversee the management of yard, ensuring the trucks are safe, reliable and compliant.
- Improve efficiency in routing, scheduling and delivery performance.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules
- Maintaining business records.
- Coordinating with drivers for deliveries and setting up drivers’ roaster.
- Responding to delivery related emails and queries.
What we want you to bring along:
- Sound industry knowledge- at least 2 plus years work experience in the transport industry or a relevant qualification.
- Heavy drivers licence.

**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly experienced Director to join our Transport Advisory team and play a key role in shaping the future of Aotearoa's transport landscape. This senior position offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership, build client relationships and influence some of the largest transport projects across the country.
**How you'll make a difference**
+ Lead and provide technical advisory services for Transport Advisory and broader Advisory projects, contributing nationally with technical leadership and support across multiple regions.
+ Act as Project Director and/or Lead Verifier on key projects, ensuring strong governance and acting as a trusted point of escalation for clients.
+ Maintain and develop relationships with key clients including Waka Kotahi, Auckland Transport and Auckland Council, while identifying new opportunities and aligning with client needs.
+ Support the preparation of proposals, development of delivery methodologies, and identification of project requirements to ensure successful project outcomes.
+ Mentor and coach team members within Transport Advisory, supporting their professional growth and development of technical capability.

**Job Description**
As Manager - Transport & Water in Wellington, you will lead both the Transport and Water teams locally and contribute as a key member of the national leadership teams, working closely with Group Directors and other senior leaders to drive the strategic and operational success of our business and people.
This role is a blend of people leadership, project management, and client engagement. You will be responsible for developing and supporting your team, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and ensuring high-quality delivery. A strong focus will be placed on mentoring, upskilling and team development.
You will also play an instrumental role in client relationship management, actively engaging with key stakeholders and ensuring the financial performance and successful delivery of our Transport and Water portfolios in the Wellington region.

+ Chartered status or professional membership with a relevant industry body (preferred but not essential)
