The role of Warehouse Manager involves leading the warehouse operations, ensuring safety and compliance, managing staff , driving improvements, and controlling budgets. This position requires a proactive approach to both hands-on management and strategic planning to ensure efficient and effective warehouse functions.
Hourly rate: $35.00 to $38.00
Minimum weekly hours: 30

Position Title: Warehouse Manager
Primary Responsibilities
- Determine, implement, and monitor purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and plans.
- Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate records using established systems
- Receive, verify, and store materials and goods according to specified quantities and types
- Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels.
- Operate recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.
- Dispatch goods accurately and timely, in line with supply schedules.
- Liaise with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation.
- Direct staff activities and monitor their performance.
- Engage actively in warehouse operations, setting a strong example for the team.
- Provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements.
- Implement effective stock control measures and manage inventory turnover.
- Ensure accurate ordering practices.
- Manage and adjust warehouse rosters to meet business demands
What we want:
- 2.5 years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree or higher qualification is required for this role.
- Must be able to undertake manual handling duties, including physical lifting
- Must have good written communication skill
- Forklift License Required.

- Address concerns and resolve operational bottlenecks promptly.
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in warehouse/supply chain management (preferably in grocery/FMCG).
