About the role
TS NZ 2024 Ltd is seeking a Courier Driver to join our team in the Dunedin Central Otago region. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for delivering packages andparcels to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. Physically fit and able to lift andcarry packages weighing up to 25kg. You must be able to start early morning (5am-11:30am, 2:30pm-5:30pm). We guarantee you a minimum of 30 hours per week, but it could reach up to a maximum of 60 hours / week. Minimum pay would be $26/hour and maximum could be upto $30/ hours depending on your experience and skills.
Job Duties
- Safely and efficiently driving a delivery van to pick up and drop off packages and parcels within the local area
- Providing excellent customer service by delivering items on time and communicating with customers as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Assisting with loading and unloading the delivery vehicle
- Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, especially checking for compliance with DG requirements (placards, equipment, spill kits, etc.).
Requirements
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Secondary school qualification or one year of relvant experience.
- Dangerous Goods (DG) Endorsement on Driver Licence would be an advantage
- Must be available for early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required

- Operating controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other materials.
