We are a Hamilton based IT company providing intelligence and data service for businesses. Now we are looking for a Database Analyst to maintain and manage our databases.

Job duties of the position offered

• designing and maintaining database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files
• performing the operational establishment and preventive maintenance of backups, recovery procedures, and enforcing security and integrity controls
• implementing and administering database documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures
• testing database systems and upgrades, such as debugging, tracking, reproduction, logging and resolving all identified problems, according to approved quality testing scripts, procedures and processes
• accepting responsibility for the processes, procedures and operational management associated with system security and disaster recovery planning
• liaising with security vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources; analysing, recommending, installing and maintaining software security applications; and monitoring contractual obligations, performance delivery and service level agreements
• troubleshooting and providing service support in diagnosing, resolving and repairing server-related hardware and software malfunctions, encompassing workstations and communication infrastructure
• preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs
• ensuring that the design of computer sites allows all components to fit together and work properly, and monitoring and adjusting the performance of networks
• continually surveying the current computer site to determine future network needs and making recommendations for enhancements in the implementation of future servers and networks

Requirements of the position offered

• A Bachelor or higher qualification in Database/ICT/Computing Science field, or at least five years relevant work experience. 
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with good concentration for details

**About the role**
We are seeking a talented Systems Analyst who will:
**Support Digital Transformation:** Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to scope, design, develop, test, train, and deploy technology solutions that support Allegion New Zealand's digital journey.
**Maintain and Enhance Systems:** Ensure effective maintenance and stewardship of existing systems, responding promptly to end-user requests and resolving issues efficiently.

**What you will bring**
**Qualifications:** A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.
**Experience:** At least 3+ years of experience in application support with advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
**Technical Proficiency:** Working knowledge of relational databases, ERPs, PLM, PIMS, Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Power BI, and data integration technologies. Experience using IT support management methodologies and cybersecurity principles.
**Communication Skills:** Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and guide business users.
**Personal Attributes:** A proactive mindset with a customer-centric approach, strong organisational skills, and a hands-on attitude.

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to support our Account Management team in delivering awesome service to our customers.
Our customers are banks, large retailers, start-ups and everything in between.
We are seeking to hire a talent with an interest in financial products, technology, payments and critical thinking to join the team. The Role
- Influence account strategies using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and customer specific recommendations.
- Understand our and the customers' strategic agenda, operational set up and capabilities, and identify opportunities to deliver against these objectives within the technical framework.
- Provide support to communicate innovations, technology and Mastercard product to customers.
- Work directly with the customer on all day-to-day issues, ensuring they receive the highest standard of service. This will include dealing with escalations, providing management reporting, preparing presentations for senior leadership etc.
- Develop and maintain internal relationships and partner with multiple internal functions, including Product, Digital, Finance, Marketing, Customer Delivery and Gateway teams.

This role is crucial for guiding decision-making across various business units, ensuring financial targets are met, and mitigating risks related to exchange rate fluctuations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating closely with finance, operations, and management teams to align financial strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed budgets and financial forecasts aligned with business objectives.

Create and maintain financial models and cash flow projections to support strategic planning.

Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, identifying opportunities for financial improvement.

Monitor hedge coverages to mitigate foreign exchange risks effectively.

Prepare and maintain financial reports using advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables and macros.

Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation and analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate financial strategies.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in FP&A within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong command of Excel, including pivot tables and macro development.

Solid understanding of hedge coverage strategies and exchange rate risk management.

Intermediate-Advanced English proficiency (B2 level or higher).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
