The Role
We’re seeking skilled and reliable Carpenters to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in delivering quality construction projects on time and within budget, working collaboratively to meet our clients’ diverse needs across Auckland. Your expertise will ensure precision, safety, and efficiency from framing to finish.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, roofing, flooring, and interior/exterior finishing.
▪ Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately.
▪ Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install building materials (wood, structural panels, fixtures, etc.).
▪ Construct, install, and repair structures (e.g., walls, decks, stairs, cabinetry, formwork).
▪ Ensure all work complies with New Zealand Building Code (NZBC), safety regulations, and company quality standards.
▪ Operate and maintain carpentry hand/power tools and equipment safely.
▪ Collaborate effectively with site managers, tradespeople, and clients.
▪ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
▪ Contribute to problem-solving and meeting project deadlines.
▪ Uphold the company’s commitment to professionalism and client satisfaction.
Skills & Experience Required
▪ Minimum 2 + years of hands-on carpentry experience in a construction or manufacturing environment .
▪ Relevant carpentry qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
▪ Strong proficiency in structural framing, finishing carpentry, and reading plans.
▪ Strong commitment to health & safety protocols.
▪ Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy materials, and work at heights.
▪ Punctual, trustworthy, and takes ownership of work quality.
▪ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude; bilingual ability is an advantage .
