Job Responsibilities - Fabricator / Welder

• Assisting the team in completing heavy structural fabrication for residential and commercial projects

• Read and interpret technical drawings to fabricate and assemble components accurately

• Cross-checking design specifications before starting to cutting work

• Operate and maintain workshop equipment, including welders, benders and general machinery

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safe

• Performing quality checks throughout the fabrication process

What we are lookinfg for:

• Minimum previous 2 years relevant work experience in welding/fabrication OR a relevant level 4 qualification or higher

• High level of competency across general fabrication tasks

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs

• Confidence in reading and understanding engineering drawings

• Physically fit, with the ability to lift materials and stand for extended period

Civil Engineering Technician

Job Responsibilities  – Civil Engineering Technician 

• Prepare Technical Drawings and Designs
• Develop detailed sketches, plans, tabulations, and layouts for renovation and canopy construction projects using CAD software and engineering standards.
• Modify existing plans to suit site conditions and client requirements, ensuring structural soundness. Conduct Site Assessments and Fieldwork
• Carry out on-site measurements, inspections, and feasibility assessments before initiating design or construction work.
• Assist in evaluating structural integrity and identifying renovation requirements. Assist in Material Estimation and Costing
• Estimate quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labour for project components including canopy frames, cladding, and structural modifications.
• Prepare bill of quantities and material take-offs. Support in Compliance and Regulation
• Ensure designs and works comply with local building codes, engineering standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with councils or certifiers for necessary approvals and permits. Coordinate with Construction Teams

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field

Job Requirements:

The Role
As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will:
Prepare technical drawings, production plans and designs for aluminium windows, doors,and related manufacturing processes under the direction of Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists;
Assist in the design, testing and improvement of aluminium fabrication equipment, tooling, and production systems;
Select and maintain appropriate tools, machinery, and equipment used in aluminium cutting, extrusion, assembly, and finishing Assemble, install, and test new or modified mechanical assemblies, machine tools, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems used in aluminium manufacturing; Estimate material costs, quantities, and machine requirements to support factory production; Carry out field and factory tests on aluminium product systems and mechanical equipment to ensure quality and efficiency. 
Collect and analyse technical data, carry out calculations,and prepare diagrams and reports for production and quality assurance; 
Organise and supervise the inspection, maintenance,and repair of machines and plant used in aluminium products manufacturing. 
Ensure all designs, production processes, and finished aluminium products comply with specifications, industry standards, regulations and contractual requirements.

About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Direct experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers.
- 6+ cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil / gas facilities. (Experienced Engineer)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.
- Ability to carry design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/mass production
- Basic understanding of both mechanical and electrical equipment/design related to data centers (Including but not limited to: uninterruptible power sources , diesel generators, electrical switch-gear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, automatic/static transfer switches, chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled), pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs, air economizers, etc.)
- Have fluent knowledge of continuous operating redundant electrical systems, cooling systems, air flow containment systems and building management systems.
